REFERENCE TO THE CONTEXT:
A). (1.) Who gave out a cry? Why did he cried?
=The youngest of the contestants gave out a cry. He was crying because he had fallen and his hope to win the race was destroyed. He cried for his last hope.
(2) what were his dreams? What was his frustration?
=He had him to win the race. unfortunately he stumbled and fall and with his all his hope to win the race was dashed. His fall and loss of hope was his frustration.
(3) state in your own words what the other runners did? What did action reflect on their attitude?
=The other eight when saw the ninth runner falling they stopped and they turned one after another and ran towards him and help him to stand and walk towards finishing along with the ninth runner who has fallen. This action of those 8 players shows their attitude of cooperation unselfishness, and above all the real sportsman spirit and humanity.
(4) "one by one " . How to do the above bring out the main theme of the poem.
= The poems main theme is that caring and sharing are more important than winning and losing. Sports is not only about winning medals but also about learning the values of sympathy and cooperation by bringing the young boy the eight contestants so that they care about winning but they care more about believe in humanity, cooperation and compassion. This line brings out the main theme of the poem and so the contestants are sportsman in red sense of terms.
(5) Give the meaning of Frustration and anguish?
= Frustration means the feeling extreme helpness and anguish means extreme pain.
